The Toa Baja Jinetes and the Ponce Senores will take the Serie Preliminar to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Jinetes beat the Senores, 2-1, at Estadio Radamés Martínez to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Toa Baja right-hander Jeremías Cabrera had a big role in the win. He threw 9.0 innings of 8-hit ball.

Toa Baja used the timely hitting of Hestio Castillo to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Jinetes on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Jeremías had good arm action, good stuff," said Toa Baja manager Antonio Zambrano.

Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday at Estadio Armando Sandoval in Toa Baja.
