The Las Marias Citricos scooped up a win at Coliseo Carlos Chávez, dumping the Salinas Pescadores, 7-2. Rafael Martínez was essential to his team's success. Martínez, now 5-1, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The Citricos now own a record of 20-14.
Las Marias relied on the hitting of Crisanto Chaidez to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Citricos on top, 4-1. For the game, Chaidez had 1 triple and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
