Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Aibonito Frios take on the Anasco Matadioses.

The Anasco Matadioses beat the Aibonito Frios, 7-1. Anasco pitcher and Ponce, Puerto Rico, native Premislao Tijerina led the way. Tijerina, now 4-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 0, walking 4, and allowing 1 run.

Anasco relied on the bat of Mauro Alcántara to get the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Matadioses ahead, 1-0. For the game, Alcántara had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
