Spiders Rally to Win, 6-5
The Cleveland Spiders finished things off in style.

Cleveland starter Walter Thornton pitched well against the Louisville Colonels at League Park I. The left-hander led his team to a win, 6-5, in 13 innings. The win takes Cleveland to 3-3.

The Spiders relied on center fielder Andrew Foster for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"That's what these guys do," said Spiders manager Bill Morgan. "They battle, they fight."
