The Levis Fourches racked up a win at Fourches Park, bumping off the Halifax Batteries, 5-4. Jesús González, who started for Levis, pitched effectively for his team. In 7.2 innings, González surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. He allowed 3 runs. Catón Gil closed the door for Levis, picking up his 10th save of the year.

Tied up with the Batteries in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Fourches got a boost from left fielder Renato Rosado. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Rosado saw a 1-0 curveball from Gabriel Gutiérrez and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Levis on top, 1-0.

"Winning is the only objective," said González after the game.

Levis has a record of 61-71, placing them last in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime.
