The outcome was not decided until the very end at Coliseo Gerardo Buitrago.
Las Marias wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Rafael Martínez, falling to the Hatillo Canarios, 4-3. Martínez threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The loss makes Las Marias 21-17.
José Cabrera was the walk-off hero for Hatillo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Canarios designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
