Partridges Absorb 8-2 Loss at Old Growth Forest
Saginaw Joes starter Jack Stivetts had all his pitches working at Old Growth Forest. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Saginaw win over the Alpena Partridges. Stivetts got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 5 over 9 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The loss puts Alpena at 2-2.

Esteban Navarro helped out the Saginaw cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
