Halites Third Baseman Hurt in Off-Field Mishap
Thursday, December 27th , 1906
Halites third baseman Sebastián Almaguer will be sidelined for 7-8 months with an undisclosed injury. It occurred after being bit by a coyote.
"Obviously we are disappointed," said the Syracuse manager. "Let's just hope he gets back as soon as possible."
His lifetime stats show Almaguer has batted .214 and collected 216 hits, 2 home runs and 70 RBIs.
