Late Offense Lifts Louisville to 7-4 Victory
The Louisville Colonels picked up a win at League Park I, knocking off the Cleveland Spiders, 7-4. Starting pitcher Jake Campbell was a big reason why. Campbell, now 3-2, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 4 runs. The win puts Louisville at 9-8.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Campbell delivered big-time for Louisville, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Andrew Foster. The game-changing hit put the Colonels on top, 5-4.

Campbell attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."
