Bad Axe and Mackinac Island put this game in the books despite some rain.

Led by Propercio Ordóñez, the Bad Axe Stoplights defeated the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers, 7-3. Ordóñez was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Stoplights. The Stone Skippers fall to 4-5 and continue their sputtering start to the 1914 season.

Tyler Regan had a big solo home run for the Stoplights in the top of the fourth inning. With Bad Axe leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he got a changeup from Mateo Regalado and swatted a home run to left. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stoplights ahead, 3-1.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Regan.
