The St Catharines Chicken Chuckers beat the London Regulars, 7-5, at Parade Grounds. Eric Bulger, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. St Catharines pitcher Jay Swedlove got the win. He's now 1-3. Jimeno Trujillo was tagged with the loss. Picking up the save was Jude Soucy, his 2nd.

The Regulars had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Chicken Chuckers going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 28-year old second baseman Justin Racine came to the plate. Racine hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch sinker from London hurler Jimeno Trujillo. It was Racine's 1st double of the year.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Racine.

The loss drops the Regulars to 12-6.
