The Mackinac Island Stone Skippers picked up a win at Bouncy House, taking down the Alpena Partridges, 4-2. Starting pitcher Ramón Durán was a big reason why. The loss drops Alpena to 11-12.

Mackinac Island grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Marco Cerda delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1, in favor of the Stone Skippers.

Cerda called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
