Led by Tomás Velásquez, the Alpena Partridges defeated the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers, 8-6, in 12 innings. Velásquez, a native of San Juan, San Juan (Puerto Rico), was 2-6 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Partridges. Alpena is now 12-12.
