Win Goes to Stoplights in Tight Contest
In a low-scoring contest between the Bad Axe Stoplights and the Bay City Sugar Beets, Beany Jacobson was the X factor. The Bad Axe left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Jacobson picked up the win for Bad Axe, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-6. Picking up the save was 31-year old left-handed pitcher Felipe Gómez.
