Due in large part to designated hitter Valeriano Pérez, the Bad Axe Stoplights sunk the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers, 6-2. Pérez was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Beany Jacobson picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 0. On the season, he is now 4-6. The Stoplights saw their win-loss record go to 13-23. At the same time, the Stone Skippers fell to 12-21.
