The home crowd had a good time watching the Norwalk Maples and Meadville Zips get after it.

Norwalk got a terrific game from second baseman Arnulfo Minaya. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Meadville, 11-9. Minaya went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Meadville goes to 16-21, Norwalk to 18-18.

In the bottom of the sixth, Ryan Hiler delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the Meadville center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Zips in front, 11-9.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Hiler.
