Jácquez Deals Alpena 3-1 Setback

Bad Axe and Alpena duked it out and the Stoplights came out victorious.
The Bad Axe Stoplights topped the Alpena Partridges, 3-1, in Western Great Lakes Association action at The Traffic Jam. The standout performance belonged to Bad Axe pitcher and Isabela, Puerto Rico, native Pedro Jácquez. The defeat makes Alpena 17-22.
Jácquez allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 9 innings for the Stoplights. With the win, he is 4-7 with an ERA of 3.86.
"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Bad Axe manager Mateo Martínez. "That's what Pedro is right now."
