The 9-6 Syracuse win over Rochester was due largely to Jesús Carrillo. The Halites catcher was 3-5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Gabino López snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-2 on the season. Josh Mecke suffered the loss. The loss makes Rochester 12-30.

Syracuse used a timely hit from Justin Raglin to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Halites ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Raglin.
