Hydropathists Notch 5-3 Win Versus Peach Kings
|
Good production from center fielder Antonio Tapia helped the Oswego Hydropathists topple the Irondequoit Peach Kings, 5-3. Tapia was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI for the Hydropathists. Felipe Guerrero was credited with the save for Oswego, his 3rd of the season. With the win, Oswego goes to 27-15, while the Peach Kings fall to 20-25.
With Oswego leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Tapia hit a 2-run single off Irondequoit hurler Atanasio Balbuena. It was the 31st hit of the season for Tapia and put his team ahead, 3-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Tapia.
