The Alpena Partridges picked up a win at Birds' Nest of Alpena, downing the Bad Axe Stoplights, 6-2. On the mound for Alpena was left-hander Amadeo Jiménez, who played a pivotal role in the win. The loss makes Bad Axe 20-30.

Halim bin Ishaq had a big 2-run home run for the Partridges in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Alpena leading 4-2 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a cutter from Sisinio Cortés, who is tied for 9th in the WGLA with a 3.84 ERA, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Partridges on top, 6-2.
