Bellet Powers Chicken Chuckers to 8-2 Win
St Catharines and London put this game in the books despite some rain.

Riding the 3-hit performance of the slick-fielding shortstop François Bellet, the St Catharines Chicken Chuckers stopped the London Regulars, 8-2. Picking up the win was Seth Braden. He went 8 innings, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits. The right--hander struck out 7 and walked 1.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Bellet hit a 3-run home run off Peichun Tan. It propelled the Chicken Chuckers into the lead, 4-1.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Federico Pérez.

The 4th-place Chicken Chuckers now have a win-loss record of 22-27.
