Bad Axe Stoplights starter Pedro Jácquez hurled his team past the Bay City Sugar Beets, 6-2. Jácquez, the winner, moves to 7-8. He threw 9 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. The third-place Sugar Beets have dropped 6 straight games.
