Sarnia Rallies Past London, 4-2
The Sarnia Roughnecks defeated the London Regulars, 4-2, in Eastern Great Lakes Association action at Parade Grounds. Sarnia pitcher Tony Schmidt had a standout performance. Sarnia reliever Palamedes Sánchez picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Damian Freake was tagged with the loss. Stephen Humby wrapped it up, recording his 8th save.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Scott Inglis was at the plate when Sarnia scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Roughnecks to go in front, 2-1.

"Pedal to the metal" is how Sarnia manager Tricky Nichols described his team's approach.

The third-place Roughnecks hiked their record to 25-27.
