Osuna Goes Wild, But Joes Win
Despite a great performance by Bad Axe first baseman Rafael Osuna, the Saginaw Joes defeated the Stoplights by the score of 13-11 at Old Growth Forest. Osuna went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Joël Coutant was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. At 34-25, the Joes claim first place in the Western Great Lakes Association League of Lake Huron.

In the bottom of the third inning, the Joes grabbed the lead when Jesús Bautista rapped a two-out single. Saginaw was trailing 3-2, when Bautista hit a 2-run single off Alberto Muñoz to put his team in front, 4-3.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Joes manager Miguel Chagoya.
