Stone Skippers Take Tight Tilt, 2-1
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers and Bay City Sugar Beets came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Mackinac Island Stone Skippers starter Bernard Hawkins turned in a top-notch performance against the Bay City Sugar Beets at Bouncy House. The result was a win for the Stone Skippers, 2-1. The Stone Skippers sport a record of 27-39.

Mackinac Island took control in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Mateo Regalado hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Stone Skippers.

"Good ballgame," said Bay City manager Kevin Smith. "But we came up on the short end."
