In Extras, Colonels Beat Reds
The Louisville Colonels defeated the Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings, 7-6, in part because of first baseman Charlie Duffee. Duffee went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Colonels. The win belonged to Brad Drain in relief. His record improves to 3-4. Sean Mains took the loss for Cincinnati. Louisville is now 35-26.

The Colonels got a clutch hit from shortstop Sammy Strang. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Colonels.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Duffee.
