Reyes Collects Cycle
The Alpena Partridges topped the Bay City Sugar Beets by a score of 12-9 at Candysweet Park, but all the talk was centered on catcher Premislao Reyes.

The Alpena star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. Reyes went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.

"I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Reyes said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in."

Premislao Reyes flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Pablo Torres in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

Reyes is hitting .236 this season with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 140 at-bats.
