Stone Skippers Claim Late Win
The Bad Axe Stoplights got a sterling performance from shortstop Simon Allen, but the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers still prevailed, 9-8. Allen went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The winner in relief was Tito Hernández. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings.
