The Jayuya Cerros topped the Barceloneta Marineros, 4-3, in Liga Hostos action at Coliseo Álvaro Santana. The game was highlighted by the performance of Jayuya pitcher Isidoro Núñez. Núñez, now 5-5, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 0, walking 4, and allowing 3 runs. Fernando Serafín picked up the save for Jayuya, his 5th of the year.
Jayuya took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Pedro Muñiz hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Cerros.
