Martínez Leads Duluth to 7-0 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Duluth-Superior contest at Peak Performance Park.

The Duluth Zeniths defeated the Superior Whalebacks, 7-0, in Western Great Lakes Association action at Peak Performance Park. Duluth pitcher Omar Martínez had a standout performance. The third-place Zeniths improved to 38-37.

Martínez worked his magic against Superior. The left-hander from San Juan, Puerto Rico, went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. He struck out 10.

"Omar's as tough as he is talented," said Duluth manager Fred Corey.
