Saginaw beat Bay City on the strength of starting pitcher Carmelo Collazo's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Collazo yielded 3 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 9-8. Saginaw, now 51-24, has won 12 straight games.

Induciomaro Ávila was the walk-off hero for Saginaw. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Joes third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
