Stone Skippers Pick Up 7-6 Win Against Saginaw
The umbrellas came out during the Mackinac Island-Saginaw contest at Bouncy House.

No one was more impactful than Diego Santos in the 7-6 Mackinac Island win over Saginaw. Santos, who is tied for 10th in the WGLA in home runs with 16, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tito Hernández finished to wrap up his 8th save.

In the bottom of the 5th, Mackinac Island took the lead on a 2-run home run by Eufemio Palacios. At the time, the Stone Skippers were trailing 6-5, but Palacios's hit with two outs against Saginaw pitcher Jack Stivetts put them in front, 7-6.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Saginaw manager Miguel Chagoya.

Mackinac Island sits in second place in the Western Great Lakes Association League of Lake Huron at 45-34.
