The Saginaw Joes outlasted the Alpena Partridges, 6-5, in 11 innings. Macario Soto provided some punch at the plate for Saginaw. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. The first-place Joes have won 5 consecutive games.

The Joes got a clutch hit from right fielder Jorge Alanis. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Joes.
