Roughnecks Lose Late to Chicken Chuckers
The St Catharines Chicken Chuckers defeated the Sarnia Roughnecks, 5-3, at The Big Coop. Leading the charge for St Catharines was pinch hitter Bryan Goodyear. He was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With this game in the books, St Catharines is 38-41, Sarnia 41-38.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Goodyear hit a fastball from Norm McIntyre for a 2-run home run. The Chicken Chuckers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
