Partridges first baseman Ángel Pérez left his mark on his team's 6-4 win over the Saginaw Joes. Pérez, who is tied for 4th in the WGLA in bases on balls with 52, was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Alpena in the contest. Alpena pitcher Amadeo Jiménez got the win, upping his record to 11-9. Jack Stivetts got the loss. The Partridges win now puts them at 46-50.

Had Pérez not come through in the bottom of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Pérez hit a 2-run single. The Partridges took the lead, 5-3, and never looked back.
