The 7-5 St Catharines win over Oshawa was due largely to François Bellet. The Chicken Chuckers shortstop was 2-4 with a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Rich Crowley picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-9. He struck out 1 in 6.1 innings. St Catharines raised its record to 52-44 with the win.

In the top of the sixth, Bellet put his team in front with his 10th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came against Rich Tucker, made it 5-3, St Catharines.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Bellet.
