Bad Axe Slaps 8-1 Loss on Mackinac Island
The Bad Axe Stoplights defeated the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers, 8-1, in Western Great Lakes Association action at The Traffic Jam. Bad Axe pitcher Pedro Jácquez had a standout performance. Jácquez, who is tied for 9th in the WGLA in strikeouts with 149, went the distance for Bad Axe. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. Bad Axe is now 44-55, while Mackinac Island is 53-46.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at The Traffic Jam seemed to enjoy watching the Western Great Lakes Association action.
