Mackinac Island took on Saginaw in front of a lively crowd.

The Mackinac Island Stone Skippers defeated the Saginaw Joes, 5-3, at Bouncy House. Leading the charge for Mackinac Island was right fielder Édgar Salazar. He was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ramón Durán earned the win. Carmelo Collazo, who is tied for 10th in the WGLA with a 1.30 WHIP, took the loss for Saginaw.

In the first inning, Salazar had a 2-run double for Mackinac Island. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Stone Skippers on top, 2-0.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Salazar.

The second-place Stone Skippers sport a record of 65-61.
