Orchard Grounds was the site for Western Great Lakes Association action featuring the Traverse City Amarelles and Sheboygan Brats.

The Sheboygan Brats locked up a win at Orchard Grounds, knocking off the Traverse City Amarelles, 4-3. On the mound for Sheboygan was right-hander Rip Ragan. He played a major role in the triumph. The first-place Brats now have a win-loss record of 73-37.

José Castro dealt the Amarelles a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Sheboygan leading 3-2, Castro hit a 2-2 cutter for a run-scoring single.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Castro.
