With Alpena trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Pérez hit a cutter from Fernando Cerda for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Partridges ahead, 2-1.

"We'll try to build on that win," Pérez told the Alpena Gazette.
