Brizuela Torches Amarelles for 5 Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Héctor Brizuela -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Sunlit Garden and paced the 15-6 Tulips win over the Traverse City Amarelles.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Holland third baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Héctor Brizuela singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.

Brizuela is currently hitting .287 with 6 home runsand 62 RBIs, while scoring 52 runs.
