The Baltimore Orioles outlasted Marvin Watt and the Philadelphia Phillies, 11-10, in 14 innings. Watt was impressive in the loss. The Philadelphia center fielder went 4-6 with a home run, a triple, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. Reliever George Brady picked up the win. His record improves to 15-12. Jesse Frymire, who finished 5th in the EL in saves with 3 in 1906, took the loss. The 'W' lifts Baltimore's record to 57-47.

In the bottom of the 14th, Bill Keister delivered the big blow for Baltimore, stroking a game-winning run-scoring single off Philadelphia pitcher J.P. Haines.

"The house was rockin'," said Keister.
