Big Day for Martínez as Rapids Down Zeniths, 12-4
The Sault St. Marie Rapids cruised to a win over the Duluth Zeniths, 12-4, at Rapids Park, But Better. Ramiro Martínez led the way, going 3-for-4 for Sault St. Marie. The win has Sault St. Marie at 40-74.

With Sault St. Marie leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Martínez came up to bat against Duluth pitcher Anaxímenes Valverde. Martínez hit a changeup to left for a 2-run double. His 37th double of the season put the Rapids on top, 5-1.

Duluth manager Fred Corey said: "We'll put this one in the trash can and get ready for the next game."
