Irondequoit Rallies Past Rochester, 5-4
The Irondequoit Peach Kings picked up a win, 5-4, over the Rochester Lilac Stockings at Fairweather Park. Juan Valdez led the charge. The Caguas, Humacao native was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times for Irondequoit. The win was credited to 25-year old left-handed pitcher Mórsimo Bonilla in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Joe Stanley took the loss. With the win, Irondequoit upped its record to 63-57.

Isidoro Ruiz was the walk-off hero for Irondequoit. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Peach Kings left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
