The Utica Half Moons topped the Oswego Hydropathists by a score of 11-8. Leading the way was left fielder Max Dills. Dills went 1 for 2 with a double and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Half Moons. Carlos Sosa was the winner. He's now 16-9. The loser was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Ciriaco Méndez. Lisco Estrada closed the game out for Utica, earning his 2nd save.

With Utica leading 5-4 in the bottom of the third, Dills batted against Oswego pitcher Ciriaco Méndez. Dills hit a fastball to left for a 2-run double. His 28th double of the season put the Half Moons on top, 7-4.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Dills told the Utica News.

With the win, the Half Moons improved to 60-61.
