Hydropathists Rally to Win
Despite the exploits of catcher Norberto Ocampo, the Irondequoit Peach Kings were beaten by the Oswego Hydropathists, 6-5, in 10 innings. Ocampo went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Felipe Guerrero snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 2.2 innings. He's now 4-3 on the season. Today's win puts Oswego at 59-67, while Irondequoit falls to 54-71.

Oswego used the timely hitting of Jan Beal to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hydropathists on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"No one wins," Beal said, "without the will to win."
