The Bayamon Herradones clobbered the Dorado Defensores, 13-1, at Parquecito de Bayamón. Leading the onslaught was Dámaso Ortiz. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Bayamon. Kieran Graham earned the win for Bayamon. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 7-7. By defeating Dorado, the 11th-place Herradones improved to 30-41.
In the first inning, Ortiz had a grand slam home run for Bayamon. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Herradones on top, 9-0.
"Not much went our way," said Dorado manager Sarpedón Portillo.
