Herradones Deal Tordos 3-2 Loss
The Bayamon Herradones earned a close win over the Toa Baja Tordos, thanks in part to Corrado Roncero. The Bayamon right-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The 12th-place Herradones bumped their record to 34-48.

Bayamon used a well-timed hit by Alois Fischhof to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Herradones ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Bayamon skipper Bill Schenck. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
