Ingenieros 5-2 Winners Versus Jayuya
The Rincon Ingenieros picked up a win at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas, downing the Jayuya Cerros, 5-2. On the mound for Rincon was right-hander Propercio Jiménez, who played a pivotal role in the win. The third-place Ingenieros lifted their record to 20-29.

Early in the game, first baseman Trevor Ransom had a 2-run home run for Rincon. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Ingenieros on top, 2-0.

"We put it together and came out with the win," Ransom said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
