Syracuse Wins Interleague Series
The Syracuse Halites are bound for the Pennant Series.

A 5-4 win over the St Catharines Chicken Chuckers at Salt City Park ended the Interleague Series, 3-1.

"We're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but it's hard not to get pumped up and excited and think about how this season could end," said Cameron Todd. "This could be the biggest celebration Syracuse has ever seen if we can win the Championship of the Great Lakes."

The state of the League of the Great Lakes championship remains in doubt, but the Halites certainly appear to be strong contenders.

Todd was named MVP of the Interleague Series after he posted a .545 batting average, while adding 2 home runs, driving in 8 RBI and scoring 4 runs.

The Syracuse Halites will play against the Mentor Rose Stockings in the next round. Mentor won their series against the London Regulars 3 games to 0. The Pennant Series schedule will be announced after the Interleague Series finishes.
